Access & Membership Options
Single Visit
- Access: One day of club entry during opening hours
- Included: General floor access and social space
- Stations: Subject to availability; book on the day
- Events: Entry to open-to-all activities only
- Priority booking: Not included
- Members-only activities: Not included
- Guest benefits: Not applicable
- Best for: trying us out or occasional play.
Weekly Membership
- Access: Unlimited visits for 7 consecutive days
- Included: Full floor and social space access
- Stations: Standard booking window
- Events: All open activities; most member sessions
- Priority booking: Standard
- Members-only activities: Included (excludes Championship)
- Guest benefits: Not included
- Best for: holidays or an intensive week of play.
Monthly Membership
- Access: Unlimited visits for one calendar month
- Included: Full facilities plus lounge priority
- Stations: Extended advance booking window
- Events: All member and open activities, including the Monthly Championship
- Priority booking: Priority tier
- Members-only activities: Full access
- Guest benefits: Bring one guest per month at the single-visit rate reduced to £5
- Best for: regular players — our most popular option.
Annual Membership
- Access: Unlimited visits for 12 months (effectively around £35/month)
- Included: Everything in Monthly, plus first-access event invitations
- Stations: Longest advance booking window
- Events: All activities and special events, with member priority
- Priority booking: Highest tier
- Members-only activities: Full access
- Guest benefits: Two guest passes per month at £5 each
- Best for: committed regulars wanting the best value.
How to Join
Create an account online at spilmes.org, choose your membership, and complete payment. You can also join in person at reception. You’ll receive confirmation by email and your membership begins immediately (or on a date you choose).
Your First Visit
Arrive a few minutes early and check in at reception. A staff member will show you the stations, explain the day’s activities, and help you get set up. Bring photo ID for age verification if you’re joining a members’ plan. You’re welcome to just settle in and play.
Booking a Gaming Station
Reserve a PC, console, or racing rig through your account or at reception. Members enjoy longer advance booking windows. Please arrive within 15 minutes of your slot or it may be released.
Registering for Events
Book events via the schedule in your account. Places are limited and confirmed on a first-come basis. You’ll get a reminder before the session.
Team Practice Opportunities
Regular team evenings (FPS, MOBA, Team Communication) are ideal for building coordination. No team yet? Let staff know and we’ll help match you with others.
Equipment & Facilities
High-spec gaming PCs, current-generation consoles, racing rigs, quality peripherals, adjustable seating, and a comfortable social area. Personal peripherals are welcome if compatible.
Internet Connectivity
Wired, low-latency connections at every station and reliable Wi-Fi in the social space. Occasional interruptions can happen; we work to resolve them quickly but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.
Beginner Support
New to it all? Our Beginner Gaming Evenings and on-hand staff make it easy to start. There’s no pressure and no judgement.
Club Rules & Community Standards
- Treat everyone with respect; harassment of any kind is not tolerated
- Look after the equipment and report faults
- Keep noise and language considerate of others
- Follow staff instructions and age requirements
- No gambling, wagering, or real-money play of any kind
Membership Activation
Memberships activate on payment or your chosen start date. Weekly and monthly plans run from that date; annual plans run for 12 months.
Membership Renewal
Weekly, monthly, and annual memberships renew automatically unless cancelled, using your saved payment method. We’ll email you before each renewal.
Cancellation
You can cancel auto-renewal any time from your account before the next billing date. Cancellation stops future charges; access continues until the current period ends. See our Terms of Service for full refund conditions.
